Our client in Irvine, California is looking for a Senior System Designer/Architect who will be a key team member of system engineers involved on research, design, simulation, and implementation (ASIC) of advanced signal processing for the physical layer of high speed wired data communication networks.

 

Requirements:

MSEE/PhDEE plus 8 years experience developing, implementing, and testing communications and DSP algorithms targeted for ASIC implementation. 

Working knowledge of Investigation, analysis, and development of advanced signal processing and communications algorithms for Ethernet transceivers 

Experience in MATLAB and C/C++ based system simulation and evaluation.

Experience in architecting communication systems for high performance ASIC based products

Experience in RTL design, simulation, synthesis  and 10 gigabit physical layer architectures a plus.

PAM/QAM is plus

Strong presentation and writing skills is required.
