Our client, a leader in next generation enterprise servers, in Irvine,California is looking for a Senior low-level Software Engineer/Systems Architect who has a strong background in Fiber Channel HBA firmware. This is a high profile, high salary direct position with great benefits.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have B. Sc. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering plus 6-8 years of related experience and working knowledge with;
RDMA protocol layers
Windows Kernel programming and debugging
C language
PC Hardware and System software
Troubleshooting HW device level problems
HPC / MPI software stacks
Ethernet Networking and higher level network protocols including TCP/IP
Solid understanding of PCI
ASIC Environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Motivated team player
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of Fiber Channel HBA drivers for High Speed Network Controller products.
This person will not only be involved in the Fiber Channel architecture, design and HBA driver but also contribute in the areas of next generation device architecture such as: RDMA, IsCSCI, and TCP Offload.
Will be responsible to develop Windows Kernel Mode/User Mode Device and RDMA drivers for the company’s 1 and 10 gigabit Ethernet controller products
