4+ years hands on design related experience, preferably in avionics, radar, communications, or EW programs, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Major Responsibilities:
Product development from initial concept through design, test, delivery, and installation
Designs, documents, tests and troubleshoots wide frequency RF and Microwave assemblies
Converts specifications into designs and interfaces with other design groups to ensure system conformance to requirements
BS degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from four-year college or university
Masters of Science in Engineering (MSEE) degree a plus
RF systems design/development utilizing commercial off the shelf (COTS) and custom components such as mixers, filters, amplifiers, hybrids and other hardware.
Frequencies of operation range from 10 MHz to 100 GHz. The predominate volume of design work is in the 1 GHz to 18 GHz frequency range.
